34.

My name is Grace.

I cannot stand parsley, like physically cannot ingest it. I have now discovered jackfruit, and I love it. I always have to clear away cups on cafe tables. I look so much better with a tan. Tinder pisses me off and bores me. I want to properly learn tarot. I hate being the centre of attention, but I handle it quite well if I have to. Seeing Poussey's smiling face hurts my heart now. I carry a minimum of 4 lipsticks in my bag, every day. When I was very young, I was so good at playing cards and chess; played long games of each with my grandparents most weekends. My tummy scar is healing nicely, now. I never wear black (but would, for #timesup).
I start counselling this week, and I cannot wait. I've been in Australia for 9 weeks, and have just got home. I wrote postcards to my GP and neurosurgeon while I was out there. As I write this, I am recovering from jet lag and excitedly planning my attack on 2018.

My lovely friend Emma recently passed away, not quite a week into this new year, and 3 days before her 30th birthday. Brain cancer finally beat her. Her family are raising money in her memory, and you can donate here. If you can't spare any pennies, please share the page.

  1. Is jackfruit that thing that tastes like meat? Because if so, I am so here for it. I hope counselling goes well for you and I love that photo. I don't think I'll ever see my name on a truck. Love these little posts of yours! xx

    1. It is indeed! It's usually cooked in the style of pulled pork, and requires massive flavours to make it properly yummy. I have had it in a burger and on a pizza!

And thank you, beaut. Huge love for you xoxo
